When a major US city agency attempted to launch a vaccine appointment system for a new virus, it faced significant problems and failed to roll it out. After our team successfully managed the vaccination rollout for a different virus, the city, now facing a potential disaster and the risk of losing its vaccine supply, asked us to take on the challenge: to launch an appointment and scheduling system for the new virus within a compressed timeline.

To launch a seamless appointment and scheduling process, we worked closely with agency sponsors to onboard providers and help manage their operations.
Project Management
We oversaw all technology releases, conducted audits, and updated user guides and training materials, to maintain quality standards and keep up with changing requirements.
Beyond the initial launch, we supported additional system releases, onboarded new providers and locations, and coordinated appointments across multiple sites. Our team provided consistent weekday and weekend support, and managed stakeholders for a complex network of community-based organizations that required close attention and hands-on assistance.
